5 Types of Criminal Defense Lawyers - provides a good, basic rundown of potential players in the criminal justice system and what their specific roles are.

Fly Fishing and the Art of Criminal Defense - interesting New York Times story about a baby lawyer/public defender and how he learned to connect with his clients and prosecutors through fly fishing.

Is C.T.E. a Defense for Murder? - Examines the Aaron Hernandez case and questions whether Hernandez had CTE.

Vanderbilt doctor finds link between criminal behavior and brain trauma - I think this one is pretty self-explanatory.  Fascinating stuff though.

No, Sexual Harassment Is Not Part Of Being A Female Criminal Defense Attorney - an unsettling story about how this lawyer suffered at the hands of clients, their parents, and her supervisors. For the record, I have not seen any such behavior or actions in New Orleans.
